It does well what it promises. Plenty of SciFi action, family drama, some pathos, and most of all a deeply personal reason to not stop fighting. I’m not claiming the story is not formulaic, but there’s enough divination to keep it fresh and engaging. Chris Pratt is an indisputably charming leading action Star on the level of Bruce Willis in his prime.
