My rating would probably be a bit higher if I would have not seen director Zack’s version first. I expected a much worse overall experience, which in fact is just lighter in tone and middle-of-the-road version sans creative and most obviously artistic input. The end battle in this version representing the most significant difference has a considerably lesser impact as goes for the whole movie. Comparing it to the director’s original vision it becomes obvious the original ambition and scope could not be abridged into 2h experience.

I did manage to see a clip from the movie. (I THINK it was the movie.)
Where the four superheroes confront a Superman gone mad.
I believe Superman’s tremendous powers pose a problem for anyone working in that Comic Universe. He’s so able to do so many things so well — and so invulnerable in return — that the question becomes, how do you challenge him? And anything that would challenge him would sweep aside the lesser Justice League superheroes. It’s a conundrum.

It’s a conundrum wrapped in an enigma. 🙂
But seriously though the Synder’s cut deals much better with this question.
