The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)

★★★★★ Watched 19 Dec, 2020

I have only heard of the real event but knew almost nothing about the background and the historical importance for the USA and the general modern anti-establishment movement. Fascinating recount of the point in time that feels so similar to the era of Trump and COVID-19, where a common-sense person has trouble coping with the reality that seems too crazy to be true. Great cast, great script, powerful message that can’t be forgotten no matter where you live.
