Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011)

Watched 05 Jan, 2019

There’s a hint of the titular character from the comics with few nods to the fans, but overall it has been too simplified and “Hollywoodized” for the general public to be worth a recommendation. If the soul of the main character is barely recognizable, there is not much point of keeping the name apart from cashing in on comic’s following. Also, there are far more interesting stories to pick from the existing comics.
On the other hand, I can commend the special effects and makeup, as well as fighting scenes are well done for independent production.
